About Us

Established 1883

Dougherty Orchards is the oldest family owned apple orchard in the state of Indiana. Located in Cambridge City, Dougherty Orchards has been growing apples since 1883 and creating family memories for generations. Make a day trip out of it— Dougherty's grows 33 varieties of apples, as well as pumpkins, pears, and sunflowers. The Petting Farm allows you to stroll around a large pond stocked with Koi fish as you get up close with a variety of farm animals.  Visit the 1883 Winery to see the newest wines and beer. During the summer season, try our famous strawberry doughnut sundae, strawberry slush, and other tasty treats.  Our fall season treats include apple dumplings, fresh cider, apple cider donuts and much more!!  Apple and pumpkin picking is also available seasonally.
